As a Cuban, finding truly authentic Cuban food can be difficult because nothing compares to the flavors of home. This restaurant is the closest I have gotten to the real taste of back home. Every dish feels like it was made with care, tradition, and love, just like our families make it. They also arranged some pastries for my daughter’s birthday, and it was a huge hit! Everything was beautiful, fresh, and delicious, and it made the celebration even more special.

This place is an amazing family owned restaurant, it has a new name something latin bakery but I work nextdoor and order the Cuban pizza and sandwiches often. The new owner is named Mike who was a long time police officer in Houston and last night I had a elderly homeless man stop in for a cheap package of cigars so I waited for him to leave before I walked outside to see if he was going to sit down and smoke his cigar which he did so I called the latin bakery Mike owns and asked him if he could quickly make a pizza and get him a drink and come to the store I work at to collect payment and Mike got it handled for me but when he came in the store I work at he refused payment from me numerous times and just said it's the right thing to especially since this elderly guy never asks for anything nor does he bother anyone he just goes about his life. This restaurant is a place we all should try because he cares about his community and the people who are in it. Thank you to Mike and his family for having an amazing heart and delicious food.

We are new to the Cape Coral, Florida area and were searching for an authentic Cuban restaurant in Cape Coral, and we are so glad we found this place. This is hands down one of the best Cuban restaurants in Cape Coral. I ordered the steak with rice and beans, and it was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. My wife had the Cuban sandwich, which was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Our kids ordered the pizza, and surprisingly it was some of the best pizza in Cape Coral as well. We also tried the natural fruit milkshakes, which were fresh, creamy, and tasted homemade. The customer service was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. You can truly feel the family-owned, mom and pop restaurant atmosphere here. If you’re looking for authentic Cuban food, great service, and a welcoming local spot in South Cape Coral, this is the place to go. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Cuban food near me, family-friendly restaurants in Cape Coral, or a hidden local gem.
